Kinderland English School

Kinderland English School is tucked away on Yedshi Road in Osmanabad. The building is called Varsha Niwas, and it has a very local feel to it. Living and working in Osmanabad means dealing with the dry weather and the quiet pace of the town. The school isn’t some massive glass structure; it’s a practical building that serves its purpose for the local families. We start our mornings by unlocking the main gates and getting the rooms ready before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of back and forth on Yedshi Road, mostly tractors or motorcycles passing by. Inside the school, the walls are decorated with things the children have made over the weeks. It’s not always perfectly quiet here. In fact, it is usually quite loud until the lessons actually start. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily chores, like keeping the drinking water tanks full and making sure the fans are working when it gets stuffy. The staff knows most of the neighbors, and we see the same faces every day at the gate. It is a straightforward place where we focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids are safe until their parents pick them up. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or small repairs, but we just get on with it like everyone else in this part of town. The rainy season brings some green to the yard, which is a nice change from the usual dust.
