Dharashiv Krushivikas Producer Company Limited is located at Wagdari in the Tuljapur area. We operate out of the place belonging to Shri Uddhaw Kalappa Waghmare. It’s a small setup because we prefer to spend our time out in the fields rather than sitting behind a desk. Most of the people involved here are from right around Wagdari or the nearby villages in Tq-Tuljapur. We realized a while back that trying to sell our stuff individually wasn't getting us anywhere. So, we put our heads together. Some days we are talking about fertilizers and other days we are trying to find someone to haul the produce to the market. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things don’t go as planned. The weather in this part of the state can be tough, and we’ve all had those years where nothing seems to grow right. But we keep at it because it’s our life. We don't have any fancy brochures or big promises. We just want to make sure the work we do on the land counts for something. If you come looking for us, just ask around for Uddhaw’s place in Wagdari. We are usually there or nearby, probably wearing our work clothes and thinking about the next harvest. It is a very basic way of living and working, but it’s real.
