Our place is at Plot No. 48 in the Ida Industrial Estate over in Kochuveli. Most people in Thiruvananthapuram know the Titanium plant, and we are located right near that. It is an industrial area, so it is not exactly the prettiest street, but it works well for what we do at Inside Design India Pvt Ltd. Being in the 695021 zone means we are surrounded by other businesses and workshops, which suits us fine. We are not a fancy interior boutique with velvet curtains and air conditioning that is too cold. We are more of a hands-on team. You will usually find us with rolls of paper and measuring tapes. We spend a lot of time discussing materials and how things are actually going to be built. We do not really do the whole corporate pitch thing. If someone wants their space designed, we just sit down and talk about the budget and the layout. It is honest work. Sometimes the trucks on the road make it hard to hear, but we are used to the noise by now. We have been in the Kochuveli area for a while and we like being part of the industrial community here. It keeps us focused on the practical side of design rather than just making things look pretty on a computer screen. We just want to make sure the final result is something useful and solid.
