Knit Prime

Knit Prime is located at number one, Appukutti Gounder Thottam. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We mostly deal with knitting and textile production here. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place that holds our machines and the yarn we use. We’ve been working out of this location for a good number of years now. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short walk or a quick ride to get here in the morning. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just know how to run the machines and make sure the output is good. The air inside always has a little bit of fluff from the wool, and the floor is usually covered in thread ends by the end of the shift. We clean it up and start again the next day. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't really have many visitors, but when we do, they usually find us through word of mouth. We don't make big promises or use a lot of business jargon. We just focus on the needles and the thread. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s second nature to us now. We take pride in just getting through the daily list.
