Three Star Modern Rice Mill

Three Star Modern Rice Mill is located over in Ganapathy Nagar, Ariya Mangalam. It stays pretty loud around here most of the time because the machines are usually running through the whole day. We deal with a lot of rice, mostly getting it ready for the local shops and the regular people who bring their own grain in from the fields. The floor is usually covered in a bit of white dust, which is something that is very hard to avoid when you are milling grain like this. We have been at this same spot for a good while now. It is a practical business, not something you would ever call pretty to look at or fancy. We spend most of our time checking the old machines and making sure the heavy bags are tied up right so they do not spill. Sometimes the power goes out without warning and everything just stops, which can be quite frustrating for us and the customers, but we just have to wait it out. People around Ariya Mangalam know exactly where we are if they need their rice processed. We are not doing anything fancy or modern here, just the basic work that needs doing every single day of the week. The shed gets quite warm in the hot afternoons, so we usually take a small break then to have some tea. If you happen to walk by, you can smell the toasted grain in the air. We do not have an office or a front desk.
