Our office is located at 22 Idumba Mudali Street in Salem. It’s a busy area and the street can get quite narrow when the delivery vehicles are trying to pass through. Salem is a major hub for this kind of work, so there’s always something happening. We’ve got a basic setup here, nothing too fancy. The walls are painted a simple off-white, and there are stacks of registers on the shelves. We spend our days talking to contractors and suppliers who need cement for various projects around the district. The heat in Salem can be pretty intense, so the ceiling fans are always on the highest setting. We have a small courtyard area where the workers take their breaks. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking the quality of the bags. We’ve been at this location for quite some time, so the locals know us. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to vent about the traffic on the street. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a bit messy with all the activity. It’s just the nature of the business. We don't worry about being polished; we just want to get the orders filled and sent out on time. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in a hardworking city. We just deal with the loads as they come and try to stay on top of the schedule.
