Sigma Public School

Sigma Public School sits on the Madurai Main Road, right in the Manikandam area of Trichy. It's easy to spot if you're driving down that way. We have been here for a good amount of time, teaching the local kids from around the neighborhood. The 620012 area is a bit quieter than the city center, which helps the students focus. Our classrooms are basic and functional. We don't have all the flashy stuff you see in big city schools, but we have what we need to get through the day. The playground gets dusty in the summer, and the kids definitely enjoy their break times out there. Most of our teachers are local people who have been with us for years. They know the families around Manikandam quite well. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy, but we manage. We just open the gates every morning and get to work. It's a simple routine. We check the attendance, run the classes, and watch the kids grow up. Some of them start here as small children and stay until they are ready for college. It is a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. The building itself has seen a lot of use, and we're always doing small repairs here and there to keep things running. We like the community feel here and the fact that everyone knows each other's names.
