We work at Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Co-Generation Power Plant(12Mw. You can find us at 94, Kurinji Street, Sanjeevinagar East Devadanam in Trichy-2. It’s a 12Mw plant, so there’s always something happening. It’s not a quiet office job at all. We are surrounded by machinery, pipes, and a lot of noise. Our days are spent checking on the co-generation process and making sure the sugar and chemical side of things is moving along. We aren't wearing suits here; it’s mostly boots and safety gear. The weather in Tamil Nadu can be a real challenge, especially when you’re working near a power plant that puts out a lot of heat. We just get used to it. The address on Kurinji Street is basically our second home. We’ve been operating here for a while and we know every corner of the facility. We don't have a big marketing department because we aren't selling things to the general public in that way. We just focus on production and keeping the machines running. It’s a lot of technical work and manual labor. Sometimes things break down and we have to stay late to fix them. That’s just the nature of the plant life. We don't have any fancy speeches about what we do. We just make sure the power is generated and the chemicals are processed. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do every day.
