Designation

We’re located in Ramanathapuram, down in Tamil Nadu. It’s a place with a lot of history, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. Designation is a small operation. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or a lobby. We work out of a plain building that gets the job done. The weather here can be quite something, especially when the summer heat kicks in, but we’re used to it by now. We spend our mornings getting through the backlog of work. There’s always something to keep us busy. We aren't into big speeches or trying to look more important than we are. We just want to be useful and do what’s expected of us. Some of us have lived here our whole lives. We know the streets and the people around us. We really like the local food stalls nearby for a quick snack in the afternoon. It’s a modest way of doing business. We don’t have complicated systems, just some common sense and a bit of hard work. We find that being honest and straightforward is the best way to be. We don’t promise things we can’t actually do. We just show up and see what needs to be finished. It’s a steady pace, and it suits us just fine. We don't need any big celebrations, just a good day of work. We’re proud to be here in Ramanathapuram and keep things going year after year.
