Vishnu Real Estate

Vishnu Real Estate is based in Irinjalakuda, at house number 212 in Udaya Nagar. This is more of a residential-style office, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being in a crowded market. We’ve got a small garden area out front with some potted plants that need more watering than they get. The office is basically one large room with a few tables and a shelf full of local directories. It’s usually pretty quiet here in Udaya Nagar, except for the occasional car or the sound of birds in the trees nearby. We start our day by opening the windows to let the air in. There is a small kitchen area in the back where we make coffee or heat up our lunch. We spend a lot of our time going through local maps and keeping track of who is moving where. It’s a lot of slow, methodical work. The walls are a bit yellowed from time, and the chairs are the old plastic kind that are surprisingly comfortable. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one near the gate so people know they’ve reached the right house. Most of the people who come by are locals who live just a few streets away. It’s a nice way to spend the day, working in a neighborhood where you recognize the faces of the people walking their dogs or heading to the store.
