Singhal Sanitary Store

If you are heading down Jaipur Road near the bus stand, you’ll probably see us. We are pretty close to the Banas River, so sometimes it gets a bit breezy, but mostly it’s just hot and dusty from all the buses going by. We keep a lot of sanitary ware here—toilets, sinks, pipes, and all that stuff. It’s heavy work moving these things around, and we usually have a few crates sitting out front. The store is at No.33/S and it’s a bit of a maze once you get inside. We have rows of taps and different fittings that we try to keep organized, but things get moved around a lot. People come in looking for a specific part for their plumbing, and we spend time digging through boxes to find it. It’s a practical place, nothing fancy about it. The walls have a few scuffs from moving large bathroom fixtures, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of grit from the road. We open up early and stay late because that’s when people are finishing their own work. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking the stock and making sure nothing is cracked or broken. We know most of the local plumbers who stop by for their daily supplies. It’s just a regular store doing what it does every day. I’ve been working here for years and the view of the road stays the same.
