We are based out of Malpura in the Tonk district. Our office is over at Kaser Kunj, which is number 20 in the Brij Lal Nagar area. It’s a residential-feeling spot, which makes it feel less like a cold office and more like a local workplace. Ramesh Chand Vijay and the rest of us stay pretty busy with the accounting needs of the town. There is always someone coming in with a query about their income tax or some GST issue. We try to keep a steady pace, even when the work piles up on the desk. Tonk is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we take our reputation seriously. If we make a mistake, we hear about it at the tea stall. Most of the day is spent staring at screens or flipping through ledger books. We don't have any flashy signs or big marketing plans. People find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. It’s practical work. We help the local shops keep their books straight so they can focus on selling their goods. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it goes here. We've got plenty of files to keep us occupied anyway. It’s a simple setup where we just try to do right by the people who trust us with their finances. It’s been our routine for a long time now.
