Pawan Juice & Cold Drinks

In Ward No. 10 of Datwas Village, life is pretty quiet compared to the big cities. We run Pawan Juice & Cold Drinks right in the Main Market of Newai Tehsil. It’s a basic shop where we squeeze fresh juice and keep the sodas on ice. Being in the main market means we see everyone from the village at some point during the week. When it’s harvest time or when the weather is particularly dry, we stay very busy. People come in covered in dust and just want something cold to drink. We have a few benches where folks can sit for a minute before they head back out to the fields or their own shops. We don't have any fancy menus or neon signs. It’s just us and the fruit and the bottles. My family helps out quite a bit, so there is usually someone around to chat with. Newai Tehsil is our home, and we’ve been serving this community for years. We know most of the people who walk by by their first names. Sometimes we run out of certain fruits if the supply trucks are late, but everyone understands how it goes in a village. We just try to keep the drinks cold and the service honest. It’s not much, but it’s our living and we are proud to be part of Datwas.
