Jain Shopping Centre

Jain Shopping Centre is located in Lawa Malpura, which is in the Tonk district. We are right near the main market. It’s a convenient spot for people living nearby to pick up what they need. We sell a bit of everything, honestly. It’s not a huge mall or anything, just a local shop where you can find daily items. I spend most of my day behind the counter talking to the neighbors. It’s a small town, so everyone knows everyone. Some days it’s quiet and I just reorganize the shelves. Other days, like when there’s a local event, it gets packed. We don't have a computer system for everything; we still write a lot of things down by hand. It works for us. The building is simple and we try to keep it organized, though it gets a bit messy when new stock arrives. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. People trust us to have the basics. We don't do much advertising. We just open the doors and wait for the regulars to show up. It's a steady life. Sometimes the heat in Tonk gets to be a lot, but we have a fan and some cold water. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people trying to make a living in the market. We take things one day at a time here in Lawa and keep the door open for whoever stops by.
