Jai Bhavani Fabricaton

Our shop is in Ward No. 3 in Village Ghar. We are pretty close to the bus stand, which is where most people end up meeting anyway. Jai Bhavani Fabricaton is a small operation, mostly just us and a few tools. Being in a village like Ghar means we know most of the people who come by. They usually need something fixed for their house or maybe a new gate for their property. We spend our days cutting iron and welding pieces together. The smell of burnt metal is always around. We don’t have any high-tech machinery; it’s mostly hand tools and an old welding machine that’s been with us for years. The post office is nearby too, so there’s always a bit of movement on the road. We keep our supplies in a shed at the back, and the front area is where the actual work happens. Sometimes when it rains, we have to move everything inside quickly because the roof leaks a little in the corner. It’s just a normal part of working here. We don’t put on any acts for anyone. People come to us because they know we are right here near the bus stand and we’ve been doing this for a long time. It’s quiet work, except for the noise of the hammer, and we like it that way. We finish up when the light fades and head home like everyone else in the village.
