Sai Art

Sai Art is located near the Surang Gate in an area called Nahar Ka Chouhata in Bundi. Bundi is a place with a lot of history, and our shop fits right into the old streets. We do art work here, but it’s not a fancy gallery. It’s more of a place where we sit and work on whatever project is in front of us. The streets are narrow and can get quite busy with people and cows passing by. We use simple brushes and paints to get our work done. Most of the time, it’s just one or two of us in the shop. People stop by when they’re walking through the gate. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise from the market nearby. We don’t have a website or a big sign with lights. We just have our name and our work. The address at Nahar Ka Chouhata is easy to find if you know the gate. We spend our days mostly painting or sketching. It gets very hot in the summer, so we do most of our heavy work in the mornings when it’s a bit cooler. We don't have any big promises to make. We just like what we do and we’ve been doing it for years in the same spot. It’s a local business through and through. If you’re ever in Bundi, you’ll probably walk past us without even realizing it. We just keep painting and doing things our own way.
