Ashish Hospital

Ashish Hospital is located right in the Civil Line area. It’s a decent spot, and we’ve been here long enough that most people don’t even need to look up the address anymore. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital in the state or anything. We just want to be the place where local people can get their health sorted out without a lot of fuss. The building itself is pretty plain. We focus more on what happens inside the rooms than what the outside looks like. We see people for all sorts of reasons. Some days it’s just a lot of coughs and colds, and other days it’s more complicated things that require a stay for a few nights. We have a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. I might be looking at a chart one minute and helping move a bed the next. That’s just how it is in a place like this. We don't use a lot of medical jargon if we can help it. It’s better to just explain things simply so families know what’s going on. We don’t have any fancy awards on the wall or big promotional banners. We just open up every day and wait for the first patient to arrive. It’s steady work, and we’re glad to be here in Civil Line doing it for our neighbors.
