Aasam Plywood Hardware House

We have been running Aasam Plywood Hardware House for quite a while now. Our shop is located right inside Kacheri, very close to the Ameerganj Market. Most days start early when we pull up the metal shutters. You can hear the noise from the market starting up nearby. People come in looking for different things, maybe a specific type of plywood for a cupboard or some small hardware bits like hinges and screws. We spend a lot of time moving sheets around and showing people what we have in stock. It gets a bit dusty in here with all the wood, but that is just how it is. Sometimes the Kacheri area gets really crowded with people coming for their work, and some of them wander into our shop too. We just sit here and handle the daily walk-ins. It is a straightforward business. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just shelves full of items and stacks of boards. If you know the Ameerganj Market area, you probably know where we are. It is easy to find us once you are inside. We usually have tea from the stall around the corner while we wait for the next person to show up. It's a regular life here, dealing with builders or just local folks fixing something at home. We just keep things moving every day without much fuss and try to stay organized as much as we can in this small space.
