Sriram Industries

We are over here at 1/192, Thoppu Theru, which most people know as Kothangudi Road. It is a quiet spot in Arasavanangadu, inside Kodavasal Taluk. My father started things here years ago, and we just kept it going. The workshop gets pretty loud during the day, but that is just how it is when you are working with metal and machines. Most of the guys who work here live just down the road, so we all know each other well. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot because the tin roof picks up the heat fast. There is always something to fix or a new order to get through. We do not have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with too many papers and the smell of oil. Sometimes people stop by just to chat or ask for a bit of help with a small job. We usually say yes if we have the time. It is a simple life here in the village. We handle our work, look after the equipment, and try to get everything done before the light goes. Arasavanangadu is not a huge place, so word gets around if you do a decent job. We just try to stay busy and keep the machines running. It is not always easy, especially when parts get delayed, but we manage. That is how things go at Sriram Industries.
