Loyal Textile Mills Ltd.

Down here on 21/4, Mill Street, the days start pretty early. Loyal Textile Mills Ltd. has been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and you can usually hear the sound of things moving inside well before the sun is high. It is an old building, but it does the job. Most of the people around here know the 21/4, Mill Street address because they walk past it every morning on their way to other shops or the bus stop. Inside, there is a lot of space filled with fabric and big rolls of material waiting to be moved. It is not the quietest place to spend your afternoon, but you get used to the rhythm of the machinery after a few days. We do not have any fancy carpets or big glass windows, just the brick walls and the concrete floor that has seen a lot of work over the years. On 21/4, Mill Street, the trucks come and go, bringing in supplies or taking things away to where they need to go next. Sometimes the dust from the cotton gets in the air, so we keep the fans going to stay cool. It is a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of orders on clipboards. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized despite all the boxes. Everyone knows their spot and what they are supposed to be doing. It is just a regular mill doing its thing day in and day out.
