Down here on Andoora Street in Mannargudi, things move at their own pace. We are based at number 15/34, and if you know this part of Tamil Nadu, you know it's a tight-knit area. We handle various goods for the international side of things, though our office doesn't look like a big global headquarters. It is just a regular building where we do our paperwork and take calls. Most days, we are busy tracking shipments or talking to local suppliers. The heat can be a bit much in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. We started this because there was a need for someone local to handle these types of trades. It isn’t always easy, and sometimes there are delays with the transport, but we manage. You’ll usually find someone here from early morning. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. People who need us usually know where to find the door. Mannargudi is a quiet place compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. We focus on the work right in front of us. Every box that goes out or comes in gets checked. It's a lot of manual work and checking lists. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals are used to seeing the activity around our entrance. It’s an honest way to spend the day.
