This one is out in the Tiruvarur district, specifically in Kariyangudi. We are located on Pillayar Kovil Street. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities. The address says Thappalam Puliyur, and if you are from around here, you know exactly where that is. Most of the people working here are locals who live nearby. We handle the Grasim work for the Aditya Birla Group in this corner of Tamil Nadu. It is mostly about making sure the cement gets where it needs to go in the rural areas. The office isn't big but it is enough for us to do our jobs. We spend a lot of time talking to local contractors and checking on various deliveries. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It is a lot of manual record-keeping and simple conversations. The street has a temple nearby, so there is always some activity or music playing during the festival times. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that here. We just show up every day, do the work, and head home to our families in the evening. It is a slow pace but we get everything finished eventually.
