Vendhar Delta Farmers Association

Vendhar Delta Farmers Association is located at 2-55, Nadutheru in Mellakudikadu. This is in the T.K.P.Natham Post area of Udayarpallayam. We are an association, not a big company, so things are done a bit differently here. Most of our time is spent talking to the local farmers about what is happening in the delta. It is a very rural area, and we like it that way. The office is a simple building on Nadutheru, nothing fancy or modern about it. We don't have a marketing budget or any glossy brochures. We just have a place where people can come and talk about their crops and the issues they are facing. It is a lot of listening and trying to help out where we can. The pace of life here is slower than the city, but there is always something to do. We don't have a polished corporate image. We are just local people working for the benefit of the farming community in the delta region. Sometimes we meet under the trees or just stand out on the street to chat. It is a very direct way of doing things. We don't use big words to describe our work. It is just about being there for the farmers in Mellakudikadu and making sure their voices are heard in the local area.
