Shanthimalai Handicrafts

Shanthimalai Handicrafts is situated at 63/1 on Chengam Road. We are part of the Development Society area, right near the Sri Ramanashramam Post. It’s a bit of a walk from the main part of town, which makes it a peaceful place to work. The atmosphere around Chengam Road is quite different from the noisy city centers. We have a decent amount of space here for all the things we make. The building is simple and functional. Most of the people who work here are from the local area. We spend our days sitting and working on different projects. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we aren't in a huge rush. We like to keep things steady. The Development Society has been our home for a long time. You can hear the birds and the occasional vehicle passing by on Chengam Road, but mostly it’s just the sound of us working. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to polish up our image. We just are who we are. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just stopping by the post office nearby. It’s a quiet life here at 63/1, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep making our items and staying busy until the sun goes down.
