We've been here at 2835-H on the Chithrampatti or Elayiram Pannai Road for a good while now. It’s right near the new bus stand, so things get pretty busy with people coming and going all day long. Some days it’s just us trying to keep the shelves organized while the sun beats down outside the front door. We usually open up pretty early before the first big crowds start rolling in from the bus terminal. Most of the time, we’re just busy checking what’s come in and what’s running low on the racks. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular place where we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the noise from the bus stand gets loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. We spend a lot of our time just talking to folks who stop by on their way somewhere else. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and making sure everything is in its right place. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us here making sure the doors stay open and the lights are on. If you walk past the bus stand, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s a simple life here, really. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the inventory is right and the floor is swept. It's just a shop on a busy road, but it keeps us on our feet.
