You can find Mannah Ice Creams at 45 Bazaar Street. Vandavasi is a busy place, especially around the bazaar. We’ve been here at this address for a while now. The shop is small and can get crowded when the market is full. We just do our thing behind the counter. It’s a lot of scooping and talking to neighbors. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure people have a place to get a treat. Bazaar Street is always full of energy, which makes the days go by fast. There are a few of us who work here, and we take turns with the shifts. We keep it simple. The freezers hum in the background and we try to keep the floors swept. It’s a practical kind of job. We’ve seen a lot of changes on the street over the years, but we’re still here at number 45. It’s a bit of a local landmark for some. We don't spend money on fancy ads. People just know where we are. It’s honest work and we like the people in Vandavasi. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s slow and just watch the street. It’s a good spot to be in. We just keep serving and staying out of trouble. Most people know us by now and stop in when they're shopping.
