Krisar Silk Creations

Our shop, Krisar Silk Creations, is located at 418 / 191-A on Sathyamoorthy Road, right by Big Sowrashtra Street. This area is known for its history with textiles and silk, so we are right in the middle of where all the action is. The shop itself is a regular space where we keep our collections. It is not overly decorated, just shelves filled with different fabrics and finished pieces. We spend a lot of our time unfolding and folding back the silks to show people how they look in the light. It is a lot of work to keep everything organized because the silk can be quite delicate. We have been in this location for a while and have seen the street change over the years. There are always people walking by, especially on weekends when the market gets busy. We don't have a big corporate structure; it is mostly just us handling the day-to-day sales and keeping the place tidy. The building is an older one, which adds a bit of character to the shop. We try to keep things simple and honest. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in or checking the quality of the new silk we get. It can be a long day sometimes, especially when we have to do the inventory counts, but we just get through it. It is a local business and we treat it that way.
