Krisar Silk Creations

If you head down Sathyamoorthy Road and find Big Sowrashtra Street, that is where we are. The address is 418/191-A. It is a busy little corner of the world. Krisar Silk Creations is right in the middle of it all. The street is narrow and there are always people walking by or bikes parked along the edge. Inside, it smells like fabric and a bit of old wood. We have shelves lining the walls filled with different things we are working on. The light from the street doesn't always reach the back of the shop, so we have plenty of lamps to see by. It gets quite loud during the middle of the day with the market nearby. Sathyamoorthy Road is always jammed up with traffic, so we usually just walk if we need to go anywhere close. We have been at this location for a long time. The floorboards creak a little in certain spots. We spend our hours sorting through the silk and getting everything ready. It is a lot of hand work and attention. Most of the time we are just talking amongst ourselves while we work. It is a very local vibe. People stop in just to say hello sometimes because they are passing by on Big Sowrashtra Street anyway. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door. It is a tight space but we make it work for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
