Our business, Eye Care Opticals And Eye Care Clinic, is inside the Siva complex on New Natham Road. We are in the State Bank Colony area, which is quite convenient because there is an Indian Bank ATM right near us. People often stop in after they finish their bank errands. The clinic has a simple layout with the optical shop in the front. We have different types of frames in the glass counters for people to look at. The testing area is just a small room where we check eyes. New Natham Road is always busy, so there is a lot of noise from the cars outside, but you get used to it. We keep things pretty relaxed here. There are no fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just focus on getting the glasses right and making sure everyone can see clearly. Most of our visitors live nearby in the colony, so we have gotten to know many of the families over the years. We have a few old magazines on the table for people to look through while they wait. The floor is just plain tile and we try to keep it clean despite all the foot traffic. Sometimes we are very busy and other times it is quiet enough to sit and have a tea. It’s a good local spot and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood.
