Dolphin Engineering

Dolphin Engineering is located at 65 Mangapuram in Athikulam. We are very close to the bus stand, which makes it easy for people to find us. We do a lot of metal work and mechanical repairs. The shop is usually quite noisy with the sound of welding and grinding. It’s a mess of metal scraps and tools most of the time, but we know where everything is. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time. Being near the bus stand means there's always people moving around outside. We don't have a fancy office or a secretary. If you want to talk to us, you just have to shout over the noise of the machines. We take on all sorts of engineering jobs, from fixing small parts to bigger fabrication projects. It’s hard work and we usually go home covered in grease. We don't really do any advertising. People just see the sign when they are at the bus stand and come over. We’ve got a couple of guys who are really good with the lathe and the welding torch. We just focus on getting the work done right so the machines don't break again. It’s a basic workshop, but it gets the job done. We don't see the need for anything more than that. Some days are longer than others when a big repair comes in, but we just keep at it until the machine is running again. It’s honest work.
