Arunai Anantha

Arunai Anantha is located on Chengam Road, which is part of the NH-66 that connects Pondicherry and Bangalore. Since we’re right on the highway, we get a lot of travelers who are driving between the two cities. It’s a long road, and people often need a break from the steering wheel. We provide a spot where you can stop and take it easy for a bit. The place has some space around it, which is nice because it doesn't feel as cramped as the hotels in the middle of town. We’ve got some greenery around, though it takes a lot of watering to keep it looking okay in the heat. The building is simple and we try to keep it clean for whoever stops by. We don't have a lot of fancy staff; it’s mostly just a few of us doing everything from cleaning to helping with bags. The food we serve is just basic local stuff that fills you up before you get back on the road. We know traveling can be tiring, so we try not to complicate things. Just a room, a bed, and some peace and quiet away from the traffic noise. It’s an honest living and we’ve met some interesting people who are just passing through. We’re easy to spot when you’re driving down the NH-66, just look for our sign and pull over for a rest.
