Ti (Tube Product Of India - International Business Division)

Our office is tucked away in Rajiv Nagar, specifically at number nine. We are located in the Muthapudupet area, near the I.A.F. Avadi in Chennai. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but it’s where we do all our international business for the tube products. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and it suits us just fine. The atmosphere around here is quite unique because of the air force base nearby. We spend our days dealing with exports and shipments going all over the place. It sounds fancy, but it’s really just a lot of checking lists and making sure the trucks are on time. Our team is small, and we mostly know each other's families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have any polished brochures or big mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have maps and schedules. Chennai can get really hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast while we work through the afternoon. It’s a lot of grit and honest labor. People come to us because they need specific tubes and they know we can get them sent out correctly. We are just a local bunch that understands the international side of the business. It’s a long day sometimes, especially when there are delays at the port, but we stay until the job is done. We usually have a bit of a chat before heading out. It's not a complicated life, but it's ours.
