The Beauty Shop

If you’re heading down Mth Road in Krishnapuram, you’ve probably seen the 7 Star Complex. We are up on the second floor, right above Shopping Singapore. It’s a busy building, especially on weekends when the market gets crowded. The Beauty Shop has been here for a bit now, tucked away where it’s a little quieter than the street level. We deal with hair, skin, and whatever else people need to look a bit better before a wedding or an event. The elevator in the building works most of the time, but the stairs are there just in case. We have a few chairs and some mirrors set up at No 459. It’s a practical setup. We don't spend a lot on flashy decorations because we'd rather focus on the hair cutting and threading. Most of our customers are from Ambattur and they’ve been coming to us since we opened. We know their names and how they like their coffee while they wait. The shop gets a lot of light in the afternoons, which helps us see what we’re doing. It’s just us working here, trying to keep the place clean and the customers satisfied. We aren't part of some big chain, just a local shop in Chennai doing what we know how to do. You can find us easily once you get into the complex and head upstairs. We usually stay open until the last customer is finished and the floors are swept.
