S.v. RAJAN Constructions

We are S.v. RAJAN Constructions. You can find us at No:27, Kannapuram, in the Madhavaram Milk Colony area of Chennai. We’re right near the Vellamal School. We’ve been building things in this part of Chennai for quite a while now. It’s mostly bricks, cement, and a lot of sweat because of the heat. We handle various construction projects, from small houses to bigger structures. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office with people in suits. It’s more of a practical place where we keep our tools and maps. Most of our day is spent out on the construction sites, making sure the work is getting done properly. We talk to the laborers and the suppliers ourselves. Dealing with the Chennai traffic and the rainy season can be a real pain for building, but we manage. We aren't big on marketing or making fancy speeches. We just like to build things that last. Most of our customers are locals who live around Madhavaram or near the school. They know us and we know them. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we do the masonry and the roofing, and we move on to the next one. It’s hard work, but there is something good about seeing a house standing where there was just a patch of dirt before. We just keep it simple and keep working. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Chennai.
