Super Forgings & Steel Ltd Ambattur

Our address is No 35-B/3 in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. This is a very large industrial area, so you have to be careful with the plot numbers or you’ll end up at the wrong gate. Super Forgings & Steel Ltd has been operating from this site for many years. We deal with a lot of heavy steel, so the yard is always full of raw materials and finished goods waiting to be shipped out. The cranes are usually moving throughout the day, and you can hear the clanging of metal against metal. It’s a very industrial environment, with lots of grease and iron dust around, so nobody wears their best clothes to work here. Our office is a small brick building on one side of the lot where we handle all the orders and keep the records. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many files and old ledgers piled up on the shelves. We have a small crew of workers who have been with the company for decades, and they know every corner of this place. We don't have a canteen, so everyone sits on the benches outside during their break to eat their lunch. The sun can be quite harsh in Ambattur, but we have a few trees near the gate that provide some shade. It’s a busy, gritty place, but it’s where we make our living.
