Spider Corporation

Spider Corporation is based at No. 236 in the North part of the Sidco Industrial Estate in Ambattur. If you’ve ever been to this part of Chennai, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and the small shops packed together. Our place is right in the middle of that noise. We’ve got a small team here that knows their way around the machinery like the back of their hands. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, but that’s just how an engineering shop looks when it's actually busy. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take calls and handle the bills, but you’ll usually find us out back working. The tea seller comes by twice a day, and that’s when we take a breather. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Most people who work with us just know where we are and what we do. It’s a lot of manual work and checking the same things over and over to make sure they are right. Some days are longer than others, especially when a machine breaks down or a shipment is late. We just keep at it until the job is finished. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know and we’ve been doing it at this Sidco spot for years.
