You can find us at 6/14 on Nayapakkam Main Road in Papparambakkam. (Sms) Sm Star Food Product is a local business through and through. The road outside is always busy with buses and scooters zooming past, so there is never a quiet moment. Our building is right on the main stretch, which makes it easy for the delivery drivers to find us. We make food products here, so the smell of whatever we are preparing usually drifts out into the street. It is a functional space, mostly dedicated to production and storage. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs for when we need to sit down and handle the accounts or talk to a customer. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor has some scratches from moving heavy crates around, but we don't mind. We are more interested in the work than the décor. Most of the staff comes from the nearby houses, so we all know each other well. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot, and we usually wrap things up by the evening. It is the kind of place where things are a bit messy but everything has a purpose. We don't use any fancy titles or have big meetings. We just get the daily production done and make sure the packages are ready to go out on the trucks.
