We are located at number 387 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate in Ambattur. It is a big industrial zone, and our place is right in the middle of all that activity. We work with ceramics, so there is usually a bit of dust around and the smell of kilns or clay. The workshop is a large open space where we handle the production side of things. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We have been here in Ambattur for quite a while. Our team is mostly local people who know the trade well. We do not have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors; we just have the factory floor and a small area for the office work. Most of our time is spent checking the quality of the ceramic pieces and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks. Sometimes a batch does not come out right, and we have to figure out what went wrong and fix it. That is just the nature of working with these materials. The roads in the estate can be rough, especially after the rain, but the trucks still manage to get through. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It is not a complicated life, just making ceramics and keeping the business running as best as we can. We have a small area where we keep the reject pieces, and sometimes we use them for our own tea mugs.
