You can find us at number 333 in the Sidco Industrial Estate over in Ambattur. It is a busy spot for anyone in the industrial sector, and we have been here at this address for a good long time. Most of our day is spent dealing with pipes. It is a lot of physical work, moving stock around and making sure the right sizes are ready for whenever they are needed. The warehouse is a bit of a maze if you don't work here every day, but we know exactly where every single pipe is kept. It gets pretty humid in Ambattur, so things can get a bit sweaty during the afternoon shift. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around in air-conditioned offices. Most of the guys are out on the floor or near the loading area. It’s a noisy neighborhood with all the other factories nearby, but that’s just the atmosphere of the industrial estate. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising. We just focus on the inventory and making sure the trucks get loaded up without too much of a delay. It’s a very practical business. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but our little corner at Sidco has stayed pretty much the same. It is just where we go to do the work and get things done for the day.
