Rvee Garments

You can find us at 149 Arcot Road, specifically the upstairs part, No. 1 on Saint Antony Street in Valasaravakkam. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, you’ll see we have a lot going on. Rvee Garments is mostly about the stitching and the patterns. We have sewing machines running for most of the daylight hours. It can get quite loud with all that humming, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do various types of clothing, mostly whatever orders come our way from the local shops or individuals. The space is filled with rolls of fabric and scraps of thread on the floor. It’s a working shop, so it’s never perfectly tidy. We try our best to keep the delivery dates, but sometimes a machine breaks or someone gets sick, and things slide a day or two. That’s just how it is with a small team. We don't have a showroom with mannequins; we just have tables where we cut the cloth and machines where we sew it. People usually find us by seeing the sign from the street or hearing about us from a neighbor. We like being in Valasaravakkam. It’s a busy area with plenty of life around it. We just keep our heads down and finish the garments as they come.
