We’re over in Valasarawakkam, right at No 1 on the 1st Floor. It’s the 1st Main Road in SVS Nagar. We have been operating out of this office for quite some time now. It’s a simple setup—just some desks, a lot of filing cabinets, and the usual drawing boards. We mostly handle local projects around this part of town. The team here is small, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know each other's habits by now. Usually, the mornings are spent catching up on emails and the afternoons are for site visits or meeting with contractors. Valasarawakkam has grown so much lately, so there is always some new construction happening nearby. We don’t do much in the way of marketing or big signs. Most people just walk in because they saw our name or a friend told them we did a good job on their house. We try to be very clear about what can and can’t be done with a certain budget. It saves everyone a lot of trouble later on. There’s no fancy jargon used here. We just talk about bricks, cement, and where the windows should go. It’s a busy life, but we like being part of the neighborhood. If you climb up to the first floor, you’ll find us there, usually arguing about a floor plan or something similar. We stay busy because there’s always something new to build.
