Ptk Architects, Chennai

Ptk Architects is located at 247, Third Street in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. This is over in the Kolathur area of Chennai. Our office is where all the planning and drawing happens. It is a space filled with rolls of paper, pens, and large tables. Architecture takes a lot of patience, and we spend many hours just sitting and figuring out the right way to make things work. The neighborhood is a bit crowded, but it is home to us. Chennai weather can be tough, but we have our fans and our routine to keep us going. We are not the kind of place that has a big reception desk with a fancy logo. You just walk in and see us working. We talk about designs and measurements all day long. Sometimes we disagree on how a certain corner should look, but we always figure it out eventually. It is a practical environment. We focus on the blueprints and the details that most people might not notice. We are not trying to be famous; we just want to do a good job on the projects we are given. Most of our staff have been living in Chennai for their whole lives, so we understand the local way of doing things. It is a lot of quiet concentration punctuated by the sound of the city outside. We just keep our heads down and draw until the sun goes down and it is time to head home. We enjoy the creative process every single day.
