Lines & Curves

We are located at No 757 A, Cauvery Street in Poompuzhil Nagar, over in Avadi. The name Lines & Curves sounded right when we started because that’s basically what we do all day—draw lines and curves on paper or on the screen. It’s a small office in a residential part of the neighborhood, so it stays pretty quiet most of the time. We aren’t a big operation with a bunch of departments. It’s just a few of us who enjoy the technical side of building things. We get a lot of walk-ins from people living nearby who are thinking about adding a floor to their house or maybe building a small shop. We try to be helpful and explain how the permits work or why a certain beam needs to be where it is. Sometimes we get stuck on a tricky design and end up talking it over for hours while drinking coffee. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes we make mistakes and have to fix them, just like anyone else. The office gets a bit messy when we are busy, with papers and pens everywhere. We’ve been in Avadi long enough to know the local rhythms and what people around here usually need for their buildings. It’s a steady kind of work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just want to make sure the drawings are clear so the builders don't get confused on site.
