Lakshmi Food Products is located at number 6 on Tirupati Road in Uthukkottai. It’s a busy road with a lot of people heading towards the temple or just passing through town. We have been here for a while, and the building is pretty standard for a food company. Inside, it’s a lot of people in aprons and hairnets trying to keep up with the production schedule. Since we are a private limited company, there is a bit more paperwork than a smaller shop, but it still feels like a local place. We have our routines, from the morning shift change to the final cleanup in the evening. The machines make a lot of noise, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. It isn't always organized perfectly; sometimes we lose a pen or a clipboard and everyone has to stop and look for it. We handle a lot of different food items, and the warehouse gets quite full. There’s always a truck backing in or pulling out, which makes the entrance a bit of a mess. We don't spend much time on fancy office stuff. Most of us are on the floor making sure everything is moving. It’s tiring work, and the commute on Tirupati Road can be a pain with all the traffic. We just show up, do the job, and try to make sure the quality is what it should be.
