Kuhan Store

This is just a small shop we run out here in Uppar Dam Village. We are at number 7. It’s a quiet village, and everyone pretty much knows everyone else's business. We keep the basic stuff people need every day so they don’t have to travel all the way into the bigger towns for a few items. Bread, milk, some snacks, and household things are usually on the shelves. It’s not a huge store, but we try to keep the staples in stock. I usually open up early in the morning before the sun gets too high and the heat starts. You see the same faces every day, which is the best part of the job. We hear all the local news and gossip while people wait for their change or a bag. The store is part of our house, really. It’s a simple life. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck doesn't make it up the road on time, but we manage somehow. My kids help out after school sometimes, though they mostly just want to eat the biscuits. We’ve lived in this village our whole lives, so the store feels more like a community spot than a business venture. We don't have any big sales or flashy advertisements. If you need something, you just walk over and ask me. We’re happy to be here serving the folks in Uppar Dam. It’s a good place to be.
