Greaty Electricals

We are located at 65 West Mada Street in Thiruvottriyur. If you are from Chennai, you know this area is always buzzing, especially with the temple nearby. The street is usually full of people and the sound of bells and traffic. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s an old-fashioned shopfront with shelves full of electrical parts, wires, and switches. The air has that slightly salty smell because we aren't too far from the sea. Everything in the shop is a bit dusty because of the open door, but we know where everything is. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a place where electricians and local people come to get what they need for their houses. We spend a lot of time counting out small parts or testing bulbs. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, and we have a small radio playing in the background sometimes. It’s a very local feel. Chennai 600019 is our corner of the world. The shop isn't huge, so it feels a bit cramped when we get a big delivery of conduits or cables. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s just a regular electrical business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop on the street. It’s a loud, busy, and hardworking kind of place. Most days we are just busy helping neighbors fix their lights.
