Global Leathers

Our setup is located in the Talco Leather Industrial Estate in Madhavaram, specifically across two units, J-2 and N-2. Being in an industrial estate means things are always moving, and there is a lot of noise from machinery and trucks nearby. We handle a lot of leather work here, so there is always that distinct smell of raw materials in the air which you get used to after a day or two. Having two units means we are often walking back and forth between the buildings to check on different stages of the process. It is a bit of a dusty environment, and the floors are concrete, which is just practical for the kind of stuff we move around. We do not have a polished front office because most of our work happens on the floor where the materials are. Global Leathers has a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time, so we all know how the machines sound when they are working right. Madhavaram is quite far from the city center, but it is the right place for this kind of industry. We spend our mornings sorting through hides and our afternoons coordinating with buyers. It is hard work and your hands get dirty, but that is just the nature of what we do. We don't have time for fancy corporate talk; we just focus on getting the orders out and making sure everything looks right.
