Our office is located at Plot No. 54, Door No. 12/22 in Madhuranagar, Thiruvottriyur, Chennai-600019. Being in North Chennai, it’s a very busy and crowded area, especially with the port and all the industry nearby. Essar Steel Ltd. fits right in with the local landscape. The building is a bit cramped, but we make it work. It’s always humid here in Tamil Nadu, so the air conditioning is our best friend. We spend our time managing the local supply of steel and keeping the books in order. The street outside can get quite loud with all the heavy vehicles moving toward the industrial zones. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find us at our desks. We’ve been here for several years and have seen the neighborhood grow. It’s a very practical place to be if you’re in the steel business. We deal with a lot of local transporters and site managers. We aren't fancy people. We just do the work that’s assigned to us. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are a local bunch. We value getting things done correctly without a lot of fuss. That is basically what we are about here in Thiruvottriyur. It's a crowded part of town but it suits our needs perfectly for the type of work we do.
