We are located over in the S.I.D.C.O. Industrial Estate in Ambattur. It’s a bit dusty around here with all the factories and the Dairy Plant Road traffic. We spend most of our time at Avo Carbon India Pvt Ltd dealing with carbon components and different industrial parts. It’s a noisy area, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our building at No. 25 - A / 2 isn't hard to find if you know the estate well. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The days are long and usually involve a lot of checking orders and making sure the machines are running okay. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just the day-to-day industrial work that needs doing. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much during the summer months, but we manage with the fans. There’s a group of us who have been here since the start. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the output. It’s a practical kind of life. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that for visitors. Just a desk, some chairs, and the workspace in the back. This is just a regular place where we show up, do the manufacturing work, and head back home. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Most of the people around here in Patravakkam are doing the same thing. We usually grab lunch at the local stall nearby.
