Amarjit Singh Kalsi

The workshop for Amarjit Singh Kalsi is over at No. 58-E in the N P Sipco Industrial Estate. It’s a standard industrial unit in a big estate where everyone is busy making something or other. Being in Sipco means there is a lot of metal and machinery around, and the noise level is pretty high during the day. The building is a simple structure with a heavy door and enough space for the tools and materials we need. Amarjit is usually there on the floor, keeping an eye on things or working on a specific task himself. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We’re mostly in work clothes, getting our hands dirty and making sure the day’s work gets finished. The estate can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but 58-E is easy enough to spot once you get onto the right road. We have a small corner for tea and taking a few minutes to rest, but otherwise, it’s mostly just focused work. There’s no big marketing team here, just a small group of people doing their jobs. The power sometimes fluctuates, and the heat inside the unit can be quite a lot during the peak of summer, but we just deal with it. It’s a practical place for practical work, and we’ve been here long enough that the routine feels like second nature to everyone involved.
